The hotel day includes a period of 24 hours of permanence of the HUESPED from the initiation that fixes the HOTEL. The partial use of the hotel day causes the payment of the whole rate.
THE HUESPED admits that the practice of sports, physical exercises, and in general any activity that signifies a risk, implies that the HUESPED has the skills and knowledge that allows it to assume such risks, as well as the responsibility in case it suffers any damage or injury from which it expressly exempts the HOTEL.
The development of the Activities depends on the conditions of the Weather and the waves.
Activities must be booked in advance at the hotel, you must inform the staff, if you suffer from any special medical condition that may affect during the activity.
People allergic to any food should inform the staff
Package per person includes:
- Transfer by boat to the hotel and back to Bahia Solano Airport
- Pacific Menu: A rich breakfast with fresh fruit, Lunch with catch of the day and a delicious dinner with regional products. – (Vegetarian options)
- Drinking water, Herbal Teas and Coffee available all the time.
- Free WiFi area
- If someone suffers from any allergies, vegetarians or vegans please let us know before the trip
ACTIVITIES
- The activities offered at the Hotel, are NOT INCLUDED in the value of accommodation, they are reserved and canceled in cash directly at the Hotel.
- Only activities with authorized guides are allowed.
- The activities of the reserve may vary due to weather conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY
Once you complete your reservation, and make the payment, you will receive our confirmation email. The price will be charged in Colombian pesos. IVA it´s not included in our prices, if you are Foreigner, you don´t have to pay IVA.
CLAIMS
If you consider that the services offered do not comply with what has been agreed between you and the Hotel or in the case of objections or situations that prevent the normal development of the services, you must immediately notify our establishment. The contact details are available in the documents and messages confirming your reservation. The absence of this immediate notification will limit Mecana ecohotel in the search for a suitable solution.
REFUNDS
If there is any type of refund, it will be made by bank transfer. Our purpose is to process the refund within 72 hours of having offered a conclusive response to your request.
Although we strive to ensure the availability of reserved services, errors can sometimes occur. Once we become aware of these, we will make every reasonable effort to inform you within 48 hours of your booking. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation and refund the full amount paid, at no charge to you.
Accommodation and Prices
Mecana Ecohotel will provide lodging to the person in whose name the reservation was made (the "main passenger") and to the exact number of accompanying persons included in the reservation of each room. The main passenger must be present during check-in, and all guests must present a valid passport or document.
Rooms are generally available from 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out must be made no later than 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.
Rooms normally have 1 or 2 beds. Additional beds or cots are not guaranteed, therefore, the maximum occupancy is understood sharing existing beds, unless the hotel in question has availability to grant some.
Children's policy
Children up to 2 year of age are free of charge. Cribs must be requested directly at the hotel, at no extra cost. If cribs are not available, infants must share a bed with their parents.
Normally, children are considered passengers between 2 and 11 years old and they pay and must be included in the reservation, as an adult passenger.
Most rooms do not have space for an additional bed for children, and therefore, the maximum capacity is the same for both adults and children.
Children, 12 years of age or older, must be included in the reservation as adults.
If you cancel your reservation within 15 days of your scheduled arrival date, we will refund the full amount paid. If you cancel your reservation less than 15 days prior to your planned arrival date, you will be charged a penalty equivalent to 50% of the stay. If you do not appear (No Show) on the day of your planned arrival date, no refund will be made: the penalty will be 100%.
In all cases that are returned, the amount will have a discount equivalent to the taxes paid by the Hotel and the surcharges and corresponding expenses already deducted by the credit entities (Banks, Financial Entities or Credit Cards) and expenses for the operation.
In the case of unexpected departures that have not been reliably communicated to the hotel, prior to Check In, the customer will be penalized by billing the total of the stay booked in due time. In the case that the client has paid the total amount of the stay before the Check In, he will not be able to claim the refund of the invoiced amount.
- You may not modify, copy, transmit, distribute, sell, exhibit, license, or reproduce the site or its contents in any way, except if you want to make copies for personal use and without commercial purposes.
- The information and/or prices shown on this website are updated from time to time, and therefore may have changed by the time you book your vacation or wish to make your travel plans. Unfortunately, while every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all such information and prices, errors may exist. Therefore, you should be sure to review all details of the vacation or travel plan you select (including prices) at the time of booking.
CONTRACT ESTABLISHMENT
There will be no reservation contract between you and Mecana Ecohotel, unless the Hotel accepts your reservation and confirms the same via email. The acceptance will be considered made and will be considered effectively communicated to you to all effects at the time the Hotel sends you the email, regardless of whether you receive it or not.
ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
Mecana Ecohotel has taken the necessary precautions to ensure that the content of the website, including all photographs, services and other information are accurate. The hotel publishes this information in good faith. No warranties or representations of any kind, either express or implied, are made or promised as to the accuracy of any information contained in this site or as to its nature, quality, reliability, or any other service offered by us or on our behalf, and we make no commitment to update such information. You use this site at your own risk. All general information provided by this site is provided for guidance purposes only and is subject to change at any time.
FORCE MAJEURE
If as a result of a Force Majeure MECANA ECOHOTEL is forced to restrict, alter or cancel a reservation and / or any of the agreed services, the customer will not have the right to claim compensation for any of the losses caused by such restriction, alteration or cancellation. The term "Force Majeure" includes but is not limited to fortuitous cases, natural disasters, fires and any other destruction of any of the reserved accommodations, riots, civil or international war actions, natural disasters, fires, exercises of municipal, legislative, military or other authority, attacks, industrial actions, or any other reason beyond our control.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms and Conditions of use at any time. This agreement may not be modified in any way without prior consultation and agreement with the Hotel.
By securing the reservation with your deposit, this means that the user of the service accepts our cancellation rules.
- Cancellations of travel agencies must be informed in advance, prior notice via email, for the corresponding refund. The penalty for cancellation of this type of reservation will be 20% of the total reservation.
- When the user of the tourist services with previous notice informs via e-mail the cancellation of his reservation, the hotel will be able to demand the payment of 20% of the totality of the same one and, in case of high season (July - October) it will be able to retain the totality of the deposit or advance that previously had received of the user.
- In case of cancellations of personalized events, informed in advance of the start date of the reservation, via email, will be retained the total deposit made.
- When the user, without prior notice, fails to show up and not use the agreed services (no show) is categorized as a non-refundable reservation.
- Cancellations made during the stay of guests in the hotel will be applied the same conditions of cancellation.
- Note that any cancellation or change of dates must be requested via email.
The Hotel provides the HUESPED with the service of renting a room and its accessories, by paying the fees and prices in effect at the time of the presentation of the service and according to the different plans. The rate and the plan are those that appear on the hotel registration card. The rendering of these services will be subject to availability and to the schedules, shifts, or physical stock of the inputs, goods, facilities or spaces necessary for it.
The Hotel, will be able at any moment to arrange the change of room and the HUESPED will have to accept it.
If the HOTEL, is in the impossibility of fulfilling a reservation accepted in writing, whenever there is pre-payment or it is forced to finish the lodging in advance to determined term, it will have to obtain lodging for the HUESPED in another establishment of similar tariff, if the tariff of the hotel is substitute is inferior, the HOTEL will reimburse the difference to the HUESPED and if it is superior it will be assumed by the HOTEL. The decision will always be made by the HOTEL, but as far as possible there will be no differences in rates.
The HOTEL is not responsible for the loss of personal property of the guest. THE HOTEL provides padlock and corresponding room key, THE HUESPED is responsible for securing all doors at the exit of the room.
